With the Iowa One® Card, your student has the option to open a free UI Student Checking account at the only bank on the University of Iowa campus, Hills Bank and Trust Company.
The Iowa One® Card has two magnetic stripes. One lets students charge for on-campus purchases through their U-Bill.
The other magnetic stripe allows your student to make purchases from their UI Student Checking account at retail locations that accept PIN-debit transactions and access cash at over 25 on-campus ATMs.

Xpress TransferWith Xpress Transfer, money can be deposited into a student's UI Student Checking account over the telephone with no wire transfer fees! All you need is the routing number and account number of the financial institution where the funds are coming from.
